Louise's students from Laban will be showing work she choreographed at this conference: Life ​in ​Every ​Limb ​- ​National ​Conference ​2012.

One Giant Leap

Working closely with choreographer and overall artistic director Cheryl McChesney Jones and supported by East London Dance, Louise is choreographing One Giant Leap as part of the Big Dance Trail. The work is an intergenerational performance piece exploring important times of change in our lives through four year intervals. Set in the grounds of Barking Abbey, the production will include commissioned music played live for the performance. Louise will be working with parents, carers and their babies and children under 5, and a specially selected group of 20 year 5 school children from Dorothy Barley Primary School. The performance takes place on Monday 4th June.

Breathing Space

After completing the Dance Art Foundation initiative Dance Connections programme, Louise has been invited to join the Breathing Space Children's Programme as a freelance project artist working in children's hospices.

These classes are for babies from 3 months with a parent or carer. Classes provide babies with a movement, sensory and rhythmical experience in a playful environment supported by their parent or carer.
