Current Work

In November, Louise will be joining People Dancing’s Early Years Dance Network’s first conference in Leicester, to led a workshop and participate in a panel discussion alongside other early years artists and practitioners. Further information will be announced very soon!

Louise has been invited to Dublin in July 2020 to share her early years practice at the Dance, Health Symposium curated by Ailish Claffey. More information to follow.

Louise continues dancing and moving with mums and children under 5, staff and volunteers for The Magpie Project, funded by Big Lottery Fund in partnership with Dance Art Foundation. Read a blog post about the work here and watch a short film here

8th October 2019 Louise is collaborating with artist Cai Tomos for an open workshop for families with children under 5 years as part of The Acorn Project at Stratford Circus Arts Centre.

Moving into a second year, Louise is working with dance artist Emily Jenkins for Move Dance Feel, a programme of dance and movement sessions for women affected by cancer. Louise is based at Paul Cancer Care in Battersea with Emily. See this film

Building on a nine year relationship, Louise continues to work with Kay Rowe Nursery School and Forest Gate Children’s Centre. This term, Louise will alternate weeks with Ronald Openshaw Nursery Education Centre – where she was resident for the year 2018/19 –  and begin to collaborate with Cai Tomos, working with the children and staff at both settings.
